Amber Busuttil Mullen specializes in assisting public and private companies and private equity funds with executive compensation and employee benefits issues in the M&A context. Her work includes structuring and advising funds, counseling on the entire deal lifecycle, and ongoing representation of private equity portfolio companies.
Ms. Mullen has designed plans encompassing a wide variety of equity compensation and non-qualified deferred compensation features, and has negotiated and advised on numerous executive employment agreements. She also advises on tax, ERISA and regulatory compliance, including compliance with Internal Revenue Code Section 409A and public company reporting under the SEC's newly-revised executive compensation disclosure rules.
Ms. Mullen is admitted to practice in California and New York. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Los Angeles County Museum of Arts Modern and Contemporary Arts Council.
