Charles P. Floyd is an associate in the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  He currently practices in the firm's Litigation Department.  Mr. Floyd's litigation experience includes the representation of clients in both state and federal courts, including securities, antitrust, and appellate litigation. 

Mr. Floyd earned his law degree in 2006 from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was research assistant to Professors Eric Posner and Bernard Harcourt, served as President of the Law Students Association, and received the Ann Watson Barber Outstanding Service Award.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Letters, magna cum laude, in 2002 from the University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a National Merit Scholar. 

Mr. Floyd is a member of the State Bar of Texas.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Northern District of Texas.
