Elvin Lee is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher where he currently practices in the firm's Litigation and Intellectual Property Departments.
Mr. Lee has worked on a wide variety of litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes, patent disputes, and copyright and trademark disputes. Mr. Lee also has experience representing clients in the high-technology, computer and video game entertainment industries. He has worked on patent and copyright cases involving video game mechanics and social game platform including patent litigation related to the Rock Band video game.
Mr. Lee graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 2008 where he served as an Executive Editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. As a law student, he participated in the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic where he helped author an amicus brief filed with the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Hepting v. AT&T (No. 06-17132, 06-17137). He received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and certified minor in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, and has experience working in systems administration prior to attending law school.
Mr. Lee is admitted to practice in the State of California. He is also a member of the firm's Diversity Committee.
