Michael F. Flanagan is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the firm's Litigation Department and its Corporations Department. He practices in the area of general business litigation, including securities litigation and securities enforcement matters. He has represented clients in the defense of securities class action suits, whistle-blower cases, government investigations, and internal investigations.
Mr. Flanagan has handled insider trading, financial reporting, accounting fraud and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations undertaken by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, Congressional Committees, and by public company Boards of Directors.
Mr. Flanagan received his law degree from the University of Michigan in 1990 and his bachelor of arts degree from Cornell University in 1986. He is a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations.
