Finance Lawyer Will Join Gibson Dunn in London

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Greg Campbell will be joining the firm as a partner in the London office on 2 June, 2008. Previously with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, Campbell practices in the area of international finance and corporate transactions.

About Greg Campbell

Campbell is both an English solicitor and a member of the New York bar, and his practice covers a wide range of transactions with a focus on international finance, particularly acting for corporate borrowers and private equity sponsors in leveraged and acquisition finance transactions, as well as acting for mandated lead arrangers of corporate facilities. He also has experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital raising, and restructuring and insolvency.

Before joining the firm, he practiced with the London office of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and previously served as a judicial assistant to two English Court of Appeal judges.

Campbell studied at Merton College, Oxford, where he gained a First Class Honours Degree in jurisprudence.
