Webcast: Implementing EPA's "All Appropriate Inquiry" Rule

This program addresses practical challenges and solutions associated with implementing the United States Environmental Protection Agency's recent "All Appropriate Inquiry" ("AAI") rule outlining the new requirements for conducting environmental due diligence. Our presenters work with these new standards and will address practical "lessons learned" from the first few months of AAI implementation and suggest strategies for making best use of AAI as part of a comprehensive environmental due diligence effort.

Topics discussed include:

  • The origins of AAI: regulatory goals versus reality.

  • What do I need to do to satisfy AAI?

  • Will AAI alone satisfy my due diligence obligations?

  • What is the environmental consulting profession saying about AAI implementation?

  • What is EPA saying about the AAI?

  • What works? What doesn't?

Who should view this program:
In-house counsel, in-house environmental managers, corporate finance executives, real estate investment professionals, environmental engineers and consultants, and other personnel responsible for corporate and real estate due diligence.
