Mr. Esdorn, a partner in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's New York office and a Co-Chair of the firm's Global Finance Group, received the equivalent of a master's degree in process engineering from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, in 1981 and his Juris Doctor from The University of Chicago Law School in 1985. He focuses on the representation of providers of capital and issuers/borrowers in leveraged finance transactions, including leveraged loans, high yield notes, high yield bridge loans and mezzanine debt. He also has extensive experience in restructurings, exchange offers, consent solicitations, project finance, and structured finance. Representative clients include Investcorp, Charter Communications, UBS Investment Bank, Alliant TechSystems, TerreStar Networks, J.F. Lehman & Company, Brazos Equity Partners and Whitney & Co. Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business 2008 ranked Mr. Esdorn among the top Banking & Finance lawyers in New York.

Mr. Esdorn is a member of the Trust Indentures Committee of the American Bar Association. He is fluent in German.
