A partner in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's Los Angeles office, Jeff R. Hudson joined the firm in 1978.  He is co-leader of the firm's Global Finance Group and also a member of its Corporate Transactions Group.

With over 25 years of debt financing experience, Mr. Hudson specializes primarily in debt capital markets transactions, acquisition financings and other secured and unsecured corporate credits.  In recent years, Mr. Hudson has represented various bankers, investors and borrowers on a wide range of debt matters, including corporate credits, underwritten debt offerings, Rule 144A financings, private placements, first and second lien notes, mezzanine transactions, asset-based lending, debt tender and exchange offers and work-outs and restructurings.

Mr. Hudson also has substantial continuing experience in the acquisition area, both in connection with financings and representation of the selling and acquiring parties in mergers, asset sales, joint ventures, controlling investments and other combinations.

A 1974 graduate of Claremont McKenna College, Mr. Hudson received his law degree in 1978 from Harvard Law School.  He has been the overall coordinator of the firm's corporate training programs and has participated in various seminars and other presentations to bar and financial groups.
