Lauren Dunford

Lauren Dunford is an English qualified lawyer in the London office of Gibson Dunn.

Ms. Dunford advises on a range of private investment funds and private equity matters.  Her private investment funds experience includes the structuring and fund formation of private equity, venture capital, clean technology, hedge funds and debt funds – some global funds and others focused on investments in Europe, the MENA region, the Far East or emerging markets.  She also advises on business structuring issues for private equity and venture capital firms, as well as carried interest and co-investment arrangements for fund management teams.  In addition, Ms. Dunford represents leading pension plans, development finance institutions (DFIs), sovereign wealth funds and other sophisticated investors in connection with their alternative assets investment programmes.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Ms. Dunford was an associate in the investment funds group of O’Melveny & Myers LLP in London.  She previously practiced as an associate in the investment funds team of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP where she also trained and completed multiple client secondments including at leading asset manager Fidelity International.
