Gibson Dunn Opens Frankfurt Office with Corporate Partners Dirk Oberbracht and Wilhelm Reinhardt

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Dirk Oberbracht and Wilhelm Reinhardt will join the firm as partners. Both lawyers are currently with Latham & Watkins, and Oberbracht previously served as head of Latham’s Frankfurt office. They will anchor Gibson Dunn’s new Frankfurt office and continue their merger and acquisitions and corporate law practices.

About Dirk Oberbracht

Oberbracht focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and joint ventures. He also has significant experience with corporate restructurings, carve-outs and minority investments.

He has practiced since 2006 with Latham as the local head of the Corporate Department and served as the Managing Partner of the Frankfurt office since 2011. He received his law degree in 1992 from the University of Frankfurt.

About Wilhelm Reinhardt

Reinhardt practices in the area of mergers and acquisitions, including public M&A, private equity transactions and joint ventures, representing both buyers and targets. He has extensive experience in German corporate and securities law.

He has practiced with Latham since 2004 and as a partner since 2008, where he has served as co-chair of the Industrial and Manufacturing Practice Group. Reinhardt received his law degree in 1997 from the University of Trier.
