The Recorder has named Gibson Dunn to its list of Top Appellate Practices in California. Gibson Dunn is one of nine firms on the list. The firms were selected by the Recorder based on recent notable wins and canvassing the California appellate bar. Gibson Dunn’s appellate practice was featured for its representation of Wal-Mart in the Dukes case, where the Supreme Court reversed class certification in the largest Title VII class action in history and for successfully arguing before the Ninth Circuit that California’s Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage, is unconstitutional. The feature appears in the July 9, 2012 issue.
