Real Estate Partner Andrew Dady Joins Gibson Dunn in New York

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that real estate partner Andrew Dady has joined the firm’s New York office.  Previously at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP in New York, Dady will continue his commercial real estate practice at Gibson Dunn.

About Andrew Dady

Dady focuses his commercial real estate practice on debt and equity finance, sales, acquisitions and development.  He has extensive experience working with major financial institutions, both on the lender and borrower side. 

His matters have been among the most complex in the market, including representation of the major owner/developer/fund manager in the debt and equity financing for the acquisition of one of the largest residential real estate companies in the United States and the subsequent restructuring of such financing; representation of a major investment bank in joint ventures for the development of a luxury resort in Orlando, Florida; representation of a major owner/developer/fund manager in the equity recapitalization of an iconic Manhattan skyscraper.

He has worked with some of the most prestigious players in the real estate industry, including Tishman Speyer and Blackstone Real Estate Advisors.

Before joining Schulte Roth & Zabel in 2005, Dady was a partner in the New York office of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.  He graduated in 1989 from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
