Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's Public Policy Practice Group assists clients whose interests are affected by government on a federal, state, local, or international level, and provides counsel in an effort to maximize the potential benefit or minimize the potential adverse impact of governmental action on clients' business interests.

The Public Policy Practice Group provides counsel to develop broad strategies, including the development of personal relationships with key members of the relevant governmental entity whose actions are likely to impact the business activities of our clients. Further, the Public Policy Practice Group team provides in-depth information and analysis pertaining to potential government actions which may affect our client's business and prepares clients to testify before Congressional committees. Finally, the Group provides experienced advocacy before the legislative and executive branch of government in order to attain a particular public policy objective in support of our client's interests.
