Munich partner Mark Zimmer is the author of "Neue Korruptionsrisiken im Auslandseinsatz" [PDF] published in the September 2016 issue of the German publication BWV (Bundesverwehrverwaltung). The article focuses on the expanded risks of corruption due to the new German anti-corruption law which came into force in November 2015. Zimmer describes how the criminal liability towards foreign public officials has been significantly expanded and where it might impact civil servants and military personnel when pursuing their activity during foreign assignments.
