The Supreme Court held 8-1 that the Tax Court loses jurisdiction in a proceeding under 26 U.S.C. § 6330 when the IRS ceases to pursue a levy.

The Supreme Court has held that agencies have broad discretion under NEPA in determining the scope and contents of an Environmental Impact Statement, and that agencies need not consider the indirect environmental effects of a project or factors outside the agency’s regulatory jurisdiction.
