A Gibson Dunn team successfully defended Meta Platforms and Instagram in a lawsuit brought by families of victims of the 2022 mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, which alleged the perpetrator was exposed to third-party Instagram posts that glorified and normalized ownership of the specific firearm used in the attack.
