Based in Houston, the Recruiting Outreach Coordinator will work directly with and support the Recruiting Outreach Manager to help coordinate all aspects of entry level hiring.  This includes monitoring law student outreach initiatives, tracking all events held on law school campuses, providing support to all of the firm’s U.S. offices as they plan and execute law student group interactions, monitoring outreach to promising recruits, assisting in executing and tracking clerkship outreach, and helping to enhance our annual summer programs through firmwide programming and organization.

This role reports to the Recruiting Outreach Manager and provides support for the Houston Recruiting Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support Recruiting Outreach Manager in all duties related to law student and law school initiatives.
  • Track all on-campus and virtual outreach events and results.
  • Assist in executing target student or clerk outreach events (cross-school or at target law schools), with Recruiting Outreach Manager.
  • Analyze on-campus interviewing results and qualitative reports to determine the most effective outreach programs and identify other trends.
  • Maintain watchlist of key law student recruits and coordinate outreach thereto [including date, contacts, with watchlist drawn from our 1L program applicants, SEO Law resume books, other diversity program resume books, and on-campus event registrations/follow-up connections].
  • Track 1L Fellowship program mentors, activities, and, as appropriate, client employers and dates of client employment.
  • Support, as needed, with other Recruiting department operations and projects, including planning cross-office summer program events.
  • Generate consistent recruiting marketing materials and giveaways, including social media and dynamic content.
  • Assist CRO and Recruiting Outreach Manager in establishing and maintaining pipeline program partnerships and other initiatives.
  • Interface with Global Diversity department to aid in outreach and year-round follow-up and hiring season connections with law student recruits.
  • Provide support to Houston Recruiting Manager, including coordinating and assisting, as needed, with Houston summer program events, attorney-facing office events, and Houston candidate interviewing.

Qualifications

  • Ability to organize and implement detailed, complex projects while balancing a wide variety of duties.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Positive, sociable attitude coupled with an enthusiasm for legal recruiting, development, and diversifying the legal profession.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Preferred minimum of 2–3 years’ prior legal recruiting experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other programs.

Compensation & Benefits:

The annual compensation range for this position is $75-87k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
