We are seeking associates in law school class years 2018 to 2021 to join our Oil and Gas M&A team. Associates will be expected to advise corporate strategic and private equity clients in connection with acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures in the upstream and midstream sectors, oil and gas-related commercial contracts, carbon capture and sequestration projects, other similar transactions and general matters relating to oil and gas law. Candidates must have significant experience handling upstream and midstream M&A transactions, a good understanding of oil and gas and real property law and market terms and substantial experience in drafting transaction documents and effective deal management. Driven personality, business development-oriented mindset, and ability to take on high level of responsibilities and work with autonomy are key. The role is expected to have significant direct client contact and will offer a great opportunity for entrepreneurial associates to develop relationships with clients and manage matters with a high degree of independence.
The annual compensation range for this position is between $260,000 and $390,000. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
