Maxwell A. Baldi is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He practices in the firm’s Appellate and Constitutional Law and Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice groups.
Before joining Gibson Dunn, Mr. Baldi clerked for the Honorable Sandra L. Lynch of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Mr. Baldi received his law degree magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he won the Sears Prize as one of the two students with the highest first-year grades. While in law school, Mr. Baldi served as Executive Articles Editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation and as Treasurer and Supreme Court Director of the HLS chapter of the American Constitution Society.
Prior to law school, Mr. Baldi worked at a real estate investment firm. He received his undergraduate degree with first class honours in International Relations and Modern History from the University of St Andrews.
Mr. Baldi is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
