Andrew C. Bernstein is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group.
While a law student, Mr. Bernstein served as a special Assistant District Attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts. During his tenure at the District Attorney’s Office, he prepared and tried a case solo before a jury in Boston Municipal Court. He previously interned in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Bernstein earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 2017. During law school, he served as a senior editor of the Harvard Law & Policy Review, qualified in the Ames Moot Court Competition, and volunteered as a presiding judge for the AMTA Boston Regional Mock Trial Competition. In 2011, Mr. Bernstein received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
Mr. Bernstein is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Ninth Circuits. Mr. Bernstein is a member of the New York City Affairs Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
