BIOGRAPHY

Lauriane Chauvet is an associate in the Paris office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and a member of the firm’s  Business Restructuring and Reorganization and Litigation practice groups.

Ms. Chauvet’s dual practice focuses both on restructuring and dispute resolution.

Ms. Chauvet’s experience encompasses cross-border restructurings, pre-insolvency and insolvency proceedings and distressed M&A transactions for companies of all sizes and from a variety of sectors. Ms. Chauvet advises debtors, creditors, insolvency practitioners, buyers and shareholders.

Ms. Chauvet is active in civil and commercial litigation with a focus on post M&A disputes, distressed situations and handles all the litigation aspects of insolvency proceedings.

Admitted to the New York and Paris Bar, Ms. Chauvet graduated with a Masters of Law (LL.M) from the University of Chicago, and a dual Masters degree in French corporate law and common law from University Paris X-Nanterre.

Ms. Chauvet is fluent in English and French.
