BIOGRAPHY

Thomas Chen is a corporate associate in the Beijing office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He advises international companies and private equity firms on mergers, acquisitions and strategic investments.

His experience includes cross-border transactions for both public and private companies within various industries including technology, entertainment, food and transportation, among others.

Thomas earned his Juris Doctor in 2018 from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Journal of Asian Law. Thomas received his Bachelor of Science in 2014 from the University of Toronto, double majoring in biochemistry and psychology. Before joining Gibson Dunn, he was an associate in the corporate practice at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York. Thomas is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
