Winson S. Chu is an associate in the Hong Kong office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the firm’s Litigation Department.
Mr. Chu’s practice focuses on international commercial dispute resolution and corporate investigations. He has represented clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation and arbitration matters in Hong Kong, including claims relating to breach of contract, trade secrets, professional negligence and fraud. Mr. Chu also regularly assists multinational corporations in conducting internal and regulatory investigations in China and South Asia, including US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and UK Bribery Act investigations. He has particular experience in the financial services, pharmaceutical and technology sectors.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Mr. Chu was an associate of a major international law firm. He received his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Social Sciences degrees from the University of Hong Kong, where he was a member of the Dean’s List.
Mr. Chu is admitted to practice in Hong Kong. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
