Eleanor Coates is a litigation associate in the Washington D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
She received her Juris Doctor in 2021 from the University of Virginia School of Law where she served as Productions Editor of the Virginia Journal of International Law. She maintains an active pro bono practice in criminal justice and immigration work.
Eleanor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pomona College and a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins School of International Studies (SAIS). Prior to law school, she worked as an economic and financial analyst.
