Justin Epner is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where his practice focuses on antitrust litigation, government antitrust investigations, and the antitrust aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Epner has represented clients in antitrust matters in industries including branded pharmaceuticals, generic pharmaceuticals, medical devices, hospitals, consumer goods, forest products, energy, insurance, hospitality, agriculture, and professional services.
Mr. Epner earned his Juris Doctor in 2014 from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and the Executive Articles Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Religion from Amherst College in 2008.
During law school, Mr. Epner served as a legal intern to the Honorable Richard M. Berman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and prosecuted misdemeanor domestic violence cases under the supervision of Assistant District Attorneys in Queens County (NY) Criminal Court.
Prior to law school, Mr. Epner was an economic policy researcher for a consulting firm.
Mr. Epner is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
