Amruta S. Godbole is an associate in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She practices in the firm’s Litigation Department, where she focuses on complex civil litigation and white collar criminal defense. Ms. Godbole has successfully litigated and tried matters in state, federal, and administrative courts, both in California and across the country.

In addition, Ms. Godbole has an active pro bono practice. She has recently obtained asylum for a family of three and has been named a Humanitarian of the Year by the Marin Humane Society for her representation of that organization.
Ms. Godbole received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. While at Columbia, Ms. Godbole served as a member of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law and as a teaching assistant for the school’s 1L legal writing program. Prior to law school, Ms. Godbole worked across a variety of industries as a management consultant in the Chicago office of McKinsey & Company.
