Phillip C. Godfrey is an associate in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s Global Finance Department.
Mr. Godfrey’s practice includes secured and unsecured credit facilities, acquisition financings, mezzanine financings, convertible debt offerings, high yield offerings and a variety of capital markets transactions.
Mr. Godfrey received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2017. At Harvard Law School, Mr. Godfrey was co-Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender and a teaching fellow for CopyrightX. He received a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley in 2011. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Mr. Godfrey was an associate in the Debt Finance group of Cooley LLP in San Francisco.
Mr. Godfrey is a member of the California Bar.
