Yamini Piplani Grema is a litigation associate in the Denver office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Her practice focuses on litigation and government investigations in the health care, finance, and technology industries, privacy and cybersecurity counseling and investigations, and complex commercial litigation. Ms. Grema is a native speaker of Hindi. In 2018, she served as the president of the South Asian Bar Association of Colorado, and is part of the firm-wide Women of Color Initiative and the Denver office’s Diversity Committee. Ms. Grema also sits on the Denver Bar Association’s Board of Trustees. Ms. Grema is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono initiatives and dedicates hundreds of hours to serving the local community annually.
Ms. Grema earned her law degree in 2014 from the University of Colorado Law School, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. She served as a Casenote & Comment Editor on the University of Colorado Law Review and a judicial extern for the Honorable Christine Arguello of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
Ms. Grema graduated magna cum laude from the Honors Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2010 with bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Political Science. Ms. Grema served as the managing editor of her undergraduate university’s biweekly newspaper.
