Thurston J. Hamlette is a corporate associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. His practice principally focuses on capital markets, both issuer- and underwriter-side, domestic and international, investment grade and non-investment grade, in public and private offerings. In addition, Mr. Hamlette has represented corporate and investment banking clients in public and private corporate finance transactions.
Mr. Hamlette earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2013 from the Howard University School of Law, where he served as Senior Notes & Comments Editor of the Howard Law Journal. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Mr. Hamlette practiced in the New York office of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.
Mr. Hamlette is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
