William Hart is an associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s Washington, D.C. office. He currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department, where he focuses on white collar criminal defense and internal investigations.
Mr. Hart has particular experience advising clients on and conducting investigations related to the False Claims Act; the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act ("FCPA") and other pertinent anti-corruption laws; and international sanctions and export control laws. Mr. Hart also speaks Spanish and uses it regularly in his practice.
Mr. Hart graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served on the Georgetown Journal of International Law. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hart graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University with a degree in Government.
Mr. Hart is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
