Chris is an English qualified solicitor in the London office of Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher and a member of the firm’s Financial Institutions Practice Group.
Chris advises on a range of UK and EU financial services regulatory matters. This includes the regulatory elements of corporate transactions, regulatory change management and ongoing compliance requirements to which firms are subject. His clients include, among others, private equity firms, institutional asset managers, corporate finance boutiques and investment banks.
Chris read Law at the University of Nottingham. Following this, he completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. Before joining Gibson Dunn, Chris was a member of the Financial Services Regulation Department of a leading law firm in London, where Chris also spent time on secondment to the Legal team of a private bank.
