BIOGRAPHY

Gary S. Litke is of counsel in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of Gibson Dunn’s Real Estate Practice Group.

Mr. Litke has extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions, including joint ventures, financings, leasing, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and development.  He has represented investors and principals; financial institutions and borrowers; credit enhancers and private lenders; REITS; family interests; landlords, tenants and subtenants; and foreign and domestic acquirers and targets.

Mr. Litke is “AV” rated and is selected annually for listing as a “SuperLawyer”.  He has acted on a wide variety of significant real estate matters, including recent matters for the following entities or their affiliates: Welltower, Rockefeller Group, AECOM, RXR Realty and Mack-Cali.

He also spearheaded the successful representation of Yemeni asylum-seekers, among other pro-bono representations, and was Co-Chair of the Legislation Committee, Real Property Law Section, of the New York State Bar Association for six years.
