BIOGRAPHY

John McDonnell is a corporate associate in the New York Office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  He is a member of the Firm’s Capital Markets and Securities Regulation and Corporate Governance Practice Groups.

Mr. McDonnell’s practice focuses primarily on representing issuers and underwriters in public and private debt and equity offerings.  In addition, Mr. McDonnell advises clients regarding SEC reporting requirements, stock exchange listing obligations and corporate governance matters.

Mr. McDonnell received his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School in 2014, where he was named both a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and was a Notes Editor for the Columbia Business Law Review.  Mr. McDonnell earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 2009.

Mr. McDonnell is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
