Jake McGee is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, and his practice focuses on white collar defense/investigations, congressional investigations, and international trade.
His experience includes conducting internal investigations for multinational corporate clients; representing corporate and individual clients in government investigations involving the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and other regulatory and enforcement agencies; and advising clients regarding the development of their compliance and ethics programs. He has participated in investigations involving alleged violations of anti-money laundering laws and regulations, international sanctions, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and alleged securities fraud. He also advises companies on their international trade compliance obligations.
Jake received his Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to law school, he worked as an executive recruiter and lived and worked in the Middle East for several years.
He graduated from the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History, summa cum laude; a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Arts in History; and from Southern Seminary, where he received a Master of Divinity.
He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
