Dianna M. Nixon is Of Counsel and is currently located in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.  She is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department.

Ms. Nixon’s practice is diversified and she represents various corporate and real estate clients. She works on cross border transactions and matters involving a wide variety of asset classes including office, industrial, hotels, development, multifamily, student housing, retail and mixed-use properties.

Ms. Nixon initially joined Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher as an associate in the New York office in May 1998. Prior to rejoining the firm’s Los Angeles office, Ms. Nixon served as Counsel in the Legal Division, Managing Director’s Office at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Ms. Nixon also served as in-house Counsel at Citigroup.  During her tenure at Citigroup, Ms. Nixon supported a variety of Citigroup entities and business units including the Corporate Realty Department.  Her practice areas included real estate, insurance and general corporate law.

Ms. Nixon earned her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law, where she graduated with honors and was a Merit Scholarship recipient.. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University in New York, NY.

Ms. Nixon is admitted to practice only in New York and is not admitted to practice in California. She has lived in Abu Dhabi, the US Virgin Islands and Medellin, Colombia.
