BIOGRAPHY

Fanny Patel is an associate in the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  She is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department and a member of the firm’s Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Practice Group.  Her practice focuses on all aspects of executive compensation and employee benefits.  Prior to joining Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, Ms. Patel was a patent litigation associate with law firms in Dallas, Texas and Washington, D.C.

Ms. Patel received her Tax LL.M. from Boston University School of Law in 2022. She graduated first in her class and received the Graduate Tax Program Academic Achievement Award to the member of the Tax LL.M. class for the highest cumulative average. She received her law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 2017 where she served as Chief Articles Editor of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal.  She earned a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009.  Prior to entering law school, she worked as a process engineer for a semiconductor memory chips manufacturer and a chemist for a municipality.

Ms. Patel is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and the District of Columbia.
