Ryan S. Plesh is an associate in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He currently practices in the firm’s Litigation, Intellectual Property, Trade Secrets, Artificial Intelligence, and Appellate Practice Groups, with a focus on copyright, patent, trade secret, and trademark.
Ryan has represented clients in various technology sectors, including software, semiconductor, and energy in a variety of high-stakes disputes. Ryan maintains an active pro bono practice.
Ryan previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Claudia Wilken of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Ryan received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2020. While in law school, he served as a Senior Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Philosophy and Physics from the University of Wisconsin in 2012.
