Julie Rapoport Schenker is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office, where she focuses on health care enforcement and compliance matters, other white collar defense and investigations, and related litigation.
Ms. Schenker has represented health care provider clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General, and has experience advising clients regarding the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Stark Law, as well as other health care related matters. She has also advised clients regarding compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and has represented individual clients in the context of FCPA investigations by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice. Best Lawyers recognized Ms. Schenker as a 2021 “One to Watch” in Criminal Defense: White Collar.
Ms. Schenker graduated with honors from Harvard Law School, where she served as President of the Jewish Law Students Association. Ms. Schenker earned her Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude in Philosophy from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she was also inducted into Phi Kappa Phi.
Ms. Schenker is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
