Brittany Schmeltz is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices in the firm’s Corporate Department, and is a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Practice Group.
Ms. Schmeltz advises both public and private companies in connection with complex intellectual property and technology transactions issues relating to corporate mergers and acquisitions, venture and private equity investments, and the development, acquisition, licensing and exploitation of intellectual property.
Ms. Schmeltz earned her law degree in 2016 at Duke University School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor of the Alaska Law Review and was President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. In 2013, Ms. Schmeltz graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
Ms. Schmeltz is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
