Emily Seo, a Registered Foreign Lawyer (England and Wales), is an associate of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Litigation and White Collar Defense and Investigations Departments, as well as the Antitrust and Competition Practice Group.
Ms. Seo advises on internal and regulatory investigations and anti-corruption compliance programs. She also handles antitrust matters in Asia and the European Union, including merger control, antitrust investigations and competition litigation.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Ms. Seo trained and practiced at a Magic Circle firm in London, where she advised multinational corporations, financial institutions and private equity houses regarding mergers, joint ventures, abuse of dominance matters, cartel cases, distribution and licensing practices as well as on State aid and public procurement issues. She has particular experience in the financial, energy and pharmaceutical sectors.
Ms. Seo holds a first class degree in Law from the University of Oxford and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law with Distinction. She is admitted to practice in England and Wales and is a Registered Foreign Lawyer (England and Wales) in Hong Kong.
Ms. Seo is fluent in Korean.
