Laney Tucker is an associate in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department.
Ms. Tucker represents various institutional and non-institutional lenders, borrowers, investors, developers and operators, private equity funds and REITs in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including real estate financings, joint ventures, acquisitions, sales and developments involving a wide range of commercial real estate asset classes, including office, mixed-use projects, hotel/hospitality, retail and shopping centers, multifamily, industrial and vacant land. Additionally, Ms. Tucker maintains an active pro bono practice, and uses her fluency in Spanish in order to assist immigrants from Central and South America who are seeking asylum in the United States.
Ms. Tucker received her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia in 2017, and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies and Spanish from Emory University in 2013, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Ms. Tucker currently serves on the board of The Belden Club, a Real Estate Organization, and she previously served on the board of the San Francisco Barristers’ Environmental, Land Use and Real Estate Section. She is also a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Tucker practiced with Jones Day and was a member of its Banking, Finance & Securities Practice Group.
Ms. Tucker is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
