BIOGRAPHY

Mari Vila is an associate in the Houston office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices in the firm’s White Collar Defense and Litigation practice groups.

Mari received her J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law in 2019, where she participated in the Supreme Court Clinic and served as a Teaching Quizmaster for introductory legal writing courses, a Research Assistant, and a Teaching Assistant for Professional Ethics in Law, Business and Medicine. In addition, she served as an editor for the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law and Policy.

She is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Prior to law school, Mari received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, magna cum laude, and worked as a registered nurse with focuses on critical care and gastroenterology.
