Eva Massai Warden is an associate in the London office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the firm’s Antitrust and Competition practice group.
Eva advises on a wide range of UK and EU competition matters. She has particular experience advising on complex merger control matters in various sectors including consumer goods, energy, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and technology, as well as the parallel application of foreign investment rules. She frequently has guided clients through the international dynamics of global deals through coordination of multi-jurisdictional regulatory analyses and filings. In 2022-2023, she acted for Sika AG in its CHF 5.5 billion acquisition of MBCC Group which resulted in Phase 2 clearance with global remedies before the UK CMA. Eva also advises more broadly on competition law compliance both within and outside of a deal context and is experienced in delivering tailored competition law training.
Eva is dual qualified in England and Wales and in Canada. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn in 2024, Eva worked in the Toronto and London offices of an international law firm in the competition team.
