Casper J. Yen is an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he currently practices in the firm’s Real Estate Department.
Mr. Yen’s practice experience includes representation of real estate funds, REITs, and non-institutional investors and developers on the acquisition and sale of a variety of commercial real estate asset classes, which include office buildings, a hotel, senior care housing portfolio, a medical office building, industrial building portfolios, and other commercial and residential properties. In addition, Mr. Yen advises on land-use matters, which span representation of energy owner and operators, and representation of developers in entitlement and governmental project approval litigation.
Mr. Yen received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he was a Sayre MacNeil Scholar, a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society, and was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu. While in law school, Mr. Yen served as the Chief Production Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, and as a Research Assistant to Professor Anne Bloom. Mr. Yen also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Frederick P. Aguirre of the Superior Court of Orange County, and to the Honorable R. Gary Klausner of the Central District of California. Prior to law school, Mr. Yen received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mr. Yen is also actively involved in his community. He currently serves on the Associate Board for Project Youth, an organization dedicated to empowering youth and their families to make positive choices, in addition to his roles as a Council Member for the Emerging Leaders of United Way, and the Orange County Chapter of the Emilio Nares Foundation.
Mr. Yen is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
