Munich Office Provides Corporate Advice to Haus des Stiftens gGmbH

Haus des Stiftens gGmbH is a charitable company with the purpose of supporting other charitable companies in a comprehensive way. The support by Haus des Stiftens gGmbH comprises inter alia the advice on the implementation of charitable projects and public relations work, the administration of foundations or the rendering of legal and tax advice.

The corporate team led by Ferdinand Fromholzer will provide general corporate advice to the Haus des Stiftens gGmbH. In particular the advice will include legal support regarding the offer of software licenses by a subsidiary of Haus des Stiftens gGmbH to other charitable companies. Upon agreement with the software provider, this license may only be used by shareholders of the subsidiary of Haus des Stiftens gGmbH, if and for such time the shareholders are charitable themselves. We were asked to prepare and amend the respective corporate documentation to facilitate the use of the software. In addition, we will provide tax advice (by Hans Martin Schmid) on donations to Haus des Stiftens gGmbH, both from the perspective of the donator and the recipient.
