Gibson Dunn Facilitates Execution of Multi-Year Lease for Family Services Organization in Brooklyn

The Coalition for Hispanic Family Services (CHFS) is a not-for-profit community-based comprehensive family service agency servicing the Bushwick area in New York City for over 28 years. Its services have expanded from child foster care services to include mental health, primary health care, childhood education and parental/family support, homelessness prevention and community service internship among others. As part of its growth strategy, CFHS sought the help of Gibson Dunn to negotiate and facilitate the renewal of its existing lease and the execution of a multi-year lease for a new space at street level for greater visibility and accessibility to those in need within the community.  Over the course of the summer, Gibson Dunn negotiated on behalf of the organization favourable and fairer terms on the lease agreements, which concluded on October 15, 2018.
