Crain’s New York Names Noam Haberman a Rising Star in Real Estate

Crain’s New York Business named New York partner Noam Haberman among its 2020 Rising Stars in Real Estate, which highlights “the true drivers of New York’s real estate engine—those individuals whose grit and ingenuity power the region’s progress and the industry’s growth.” The list was published on July 27, 2020.

Noam Haberman’s practice focuses on the representation of banks and funds as both borrowers and lenders on the origination, purchase and sale of balance sheet, securitized, syndicated, mezzanine, preferred equity and corporate loans (including land, construction, repositioning, bridge and permanent loans) across all real estate asset classes.  He has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating complex financing arrangements for loans that present underwriting challenges.  He has substantial experience working out individual loans and entire capital structures for both lenders and borrowers as well as exercising remedies on behalf of lenders and counseling borrowers through insolvency proceedings.  His practice includes representing institutional investors on joint venture agreements, acquisitions and developments.
