Partner Brian Scrivani recently joined host David Marcus on the Drinks With The Deal podcast to discuss his career in M&A, how he balances his professional and personal life, and his advice for lawyers at the start of their careers.

Speaking about his work in M&A, Brian explained that the role goes beyond simply facilitating other teams. “If you as an M&A lawyer don’t have your hands directly into those practices and you’re not working collaboratively with your expert specialists in those areas, you’re really not doing your job,” he said.

He continued: “It’s less about quarterbacking everybody else doing their job and is really about engaging those groups to get to the right answer overall.”
