This position is based in our London office. The International Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for lateral associate and of counsel hiring for London and Europe. Candidates must have the ability to communicate persuasively and concisely and be able to work both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.
This role reports to the International Recruiting Senior Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in reviewing and selecting lateral candidates’ applications for consideration.
- Recording and storing candidate applications and all materials including CVs and transcripts.
- Building and managing relationships with agencies, including arranging terms and ensuring agreements are in place and tracked.
- Updating and expanding template documents for process communication, contracts, fee agreements etc.
- Coordinating the interview and assessment process.
- Working with internal stakeholders to assess and suggest improvements to our interview/ assessment process.
- Using existing or new tools to build more objective assessment processes and criteria to ensure we are hiring a diverse talent pipeline of lawyers.
- Drafting and issuing candidate offers and serving as the primary point of contact for candidate inquiries.
- Managing the onboarding process including background checks, onboarding through internal databases and liaising with other departments to ensure everything is ready for new hires.
- Supporting the continued focus on diversity hiring.
- Supporting internal training and relationships with external providers.
- Assisting with the implementation of ViRecruit ATS for all hiring.
- Processing invoices related to recruitment activities and maintaining accurate records.
- Promoting the internal referral programme internally.
- Supporting ongoing global recruitment projects.

Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 4 years+ experience in lateral recruitment within a professional services firm.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
