Based in Los Angeles, the Staff Recruiting Assistant will support the staff recruiting efforts on a Firmwide basis and provide administrative support as needed.
This role reports to the Manager, Staff Recruiting.
Responsibilities:
• Ensures all open staff roles are posted internally and externally
• Coordinates and schedules candidate interviews for open Global Services roles
• Completes reference checks and administers pre-employment testing through the Firm’s testing platform
• Provides backup support to Staff Recruiting Manager and HR Coordinator as needed
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interface with all levels of staff and management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Experience
• Four-year college degree in Human Resources, Business or a closely related field required.
• One to two years’ experience in the Human Resources department of a law firm or other professional services organization strongly preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms strongly desired.
Compensation & Benefits:
The hourly compensation range for this position is $25-27/hour. Benefits offered for this position include health care and paid sick time.
Location:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
