Antitrust and Competition Litigation

BIOGRAPHY

Elisa Degner is an associate in the Frankfurt office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a member of the firm‘s Antitrust and Competition and Litigation Practice Groups.

Elisa advises clients on all aspects of European and German antitrust and competition law, including cartel investigations and related cartel damage claims, merger control, compliance programs and audits, antitrust related distribution and abuse of dominance matters.

She studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg, Germany, and Jerusalem, Israel, and passed her Second State Exam in 2019. Elisa worked as a research assistant for Professor Müller-Graff at the Chair of German and European Corporate and Business law at the University of Heidelberg. She received her doctor’s degree in 2020 from the University of Heidelberg.

She has been admitted as a German lawyer (Rechtsanwältin) since 2019.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Elisa was an associate in the litigation group in the Stuttgart office of a renowned US law firm.

She is fluent in German and English.
